     Dr. Sims practiced for 5 years with the Plains Medical Center group located in Limon, Colorado; where he ran a satellite clinic and taking call 4-6 times a month at Lincoln Community Hospital and Nursing Home.  He was also Chief of Staff and Medical Director for the local Home Health and Hospice organization.  

     Dr. Sims grew up in the Texas Panhandle, and went to medical school at Texas Tech University.  It was not until moving to Colorado for his residency at Rose Family Practice.
